Frankie Tiarks Obituary
December 14, 1945 - January 23, 2025
Frankie (Frances) Tiarks, 79, of Neola, IA received a call on January 23, 2025 to her final, yet beautiful, destination- Heaven. Upon arrival, she was greeted by her husband, Aaron; son, Rick; daughter-in-law, Janel; parents, Frank and Rowena; siblings: Mae Clare (John) Delanty, Donna (Mark) Stageman, Dick (Berdine) Ring, Theresa (Orval) Taylor, Martha (Bernard) Denning, Albert (Verna) Ring, Jeanette Long, Andy Ring, and Linda Ring; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Tiarks. Frankie had a love for traveling, flowers, unique eyeglasses, and inappropriate jokes. You would often find her in tie-dye t-shirts and Birkenstocks driving too fast in her infamous Honda, Helen. She was extremely proud of her travel experiences, visiting all 50 States, all provinces in Canada, and 15+ countries. She took many pictures of the things she loved, places she visited, and her family. Frankie was exceptionally gifted with her flamboyant creativity - decorating, gardening, and DIY-ers, which she passed on in many ways to all her granddaughters. She had a larger than life personality that was shared with her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, friends, and really anyone that was within earshot. Frankie is survived by her children: Rodney Tiarks, of Wood River, NE, Libby (Aaron) George of Honey Creek, IA, Ryan (Lori) Tiarks of Underwood, IA; grandchildren: Sy (Tyler) Wichmann, Kennedy (Trevor) Otzel, Sloane (Jesse) Paxton, Abby (Troy) Beekman, Will Tiarks, Shane Tiarks, and Rylee Buettner; great-grandchildren: Rozlyn, Reagan and Blake Buettner, Laramie and Sterling Wichmann, Nora Otzel, Eleanor, Eliza, Rylee, Lyla, and Stella Beekman. Frankie also leaves behind her longtime boyfriend, Chuck Hoffman; siblings, Ronnie (Judy) Ring and Ben (Callie) Ring; brothers-in-law: Allan Tiarks and Harry Long; sister-in-law, Saralee Ring; many wonderful nieces and nephews and dear friends. The celebration of life and luncheon for Frankie will be Sunday, February 2nd 2025, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Patrick's Reception Hall, 308 4th Street, Neola, Iowa 51559. Please join us in celebrating Frankie!
