John A. Larsen, 73, of Grand Island, passed away on March 14, 2025 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.
John was born on October 17, 1951 in Grand Island to Orrie and Ida Lee (McNutt) Larsen. He was raised and received his education in the Grand Island area, graduating from Grand Island Senior High.
On February 18, 1980, John was united in marriage to Bonnie. One son was born into this union.
John owned and operated his own computer repair business, "PC Tech Shop" until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed working on computers so much that in his spare time he would code and write programs for other companies. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed being outdoors landscaping or tending to his gardens. He also loved to spend time with his family and animals.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Bonnie; son, Jared Larsen; and siblings, Leann (Tim) Hall, Bobby (Susan) Larsen, Jana (Ed) Parr, Jody (Carl) Davis, Tad (Donna) Larsen, and Tom Larsen.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry and Jamie.
