Mary Gibson, age 97, of Aurora, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Memorial Community Care.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 2nd at the chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Rev. Mark Seiker will officiate. Interment will be at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Hoot of Aurora; daughters, Kristen Gibson of Independence, MO., and Leanne Wilkinson of Kansas City, MO.; granddaughter, Amy (Rusty) Smith and family of Blue Springs, MO., and Alesa (Adam) Hedges and family of Grain Valley, MO. She is also survived by special niece, Paula (Lee) Danhauer and their son, Zack (Anne) Danhauer and their family, nephew, Jimmy Koberstein of Hume, MO., nieces, Ann (Harold) Hughes of Independence, MO., and Mary (Vince) Petrillo of Overland Park, KS.; and other family members and friends.
