Melvin Miner Obituary
To honor Mel's wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time. His ashes will be buried in the Wilsonville Cemetery beside his father at a later date.
Mel was born on December 18, 1956 in McCook, Ne. He attended grade school in Indianola and high school at Platte Valley Academy in Shelton. He went on to complete an Associate degree in Heating and Air Conditioning from Central Community College.
Mel worked in heating and air conditioning repair as well as apartment building maintenance. He had many friends and was always there when someone needed help. He was very close to his mother and checked on her daily until he got sick.
Mel is survived by his mother, Beulah Miner; his daughter, Katelyn (Kyle) Holmes; son, Max Miner; and grandchildren; Lincoln and Delta Holmes. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Miner; and his sister, Mary Lou Kelly.

Melvin was the funniest of our neighborhood group. Always had a joke to tell. He was always "kidnapping " me on my way into work. Fun times and many memories about his mean little pony. We would get together with family at the ponies. My kids loved the stories of Melvin. Fly high my friend.

Melvin and my husband Bob grew up together, farm kids from Nebraska. Melvin was the best friend you could have,always made you laugh and was always there if you needed him. Prayers for his mom and his loved ones! Rest in Peace my friend.
