Roger B. McKeon, age 63, of Ravenna, passed away Sunday November 16, 2025.
Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ravenna with Father Richard Piontkowski officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery at Ravenna. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 p.m. at Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be directed to www.rasmussenfh.com
Roger was born on July 30, 1962, to Leo and Rosemary (Strieder) McKeon. He graduated from Ravenna High School in 1980. Roger spent many years trucking and working on the family farm, all while starting and raising a family. He eventually transitioned to a 25-year career at JBS in Grand Island, rising to management in the maintenance department, a role he held with pride and dedication. After retiring in 2019, Roger returned to farming full time. Known for his strong work ethic, and devotion to both his family and the farm, he leaves behind a lasting legacy. Roger will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his children, Rachel McKeon of Hastings, Brentley McKeon of Loup City, Katie McKeon of Ravenna, and Alex McKeon of Council Bluffs, Iowa; granddaughter, Jordan McKeon; brother, Steve and Lori McKeon of Lincoln; sisters, Elaine and Dale de la Motte of Doniphan, Teresa Ziffer of Clarksburg, Maryland, and Jen McKeon of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dennis and Allan.
