July 22, 1955 - July 5, 2024

GRAND ISLAND - Sandra "Sandy" R. Pearre, 68, of Grand Island, Nebraska passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Private family burial of ashes will be held at Broken Bow Cemetery.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Sandy was born on July 22, 1955 in Plymouth, Indiana. She was the daughter of Don and Carol Lewis.

She grew up in Indiana, where she graduated from High School and continued her education at Purdue University, majoring in English. She soon moved to California where she raised her two daughters, Jillian and Veronica. In 2009 she settled in Grand Island, Nebraska to care for her aging parents.

Sandy was a homemaker who enjoyed opening her home to all of her daughter's friends. She was a wonderful baker and shared her baked goods with all her neighbors. She was skilled at needlework and made many beautiful pieces. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Jillian Bereki of Lake Forest, CA and Veronica Cushing of Grand Island; grandchildren, Payton Bereki, Lukas Bereki, Jaxon Cushing and Xander Cushing; Son-In-Law, Andrew Cushing of Grand Island; Sister, Sheryl Imada of Florida and numerous extended family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Don and Carol Lewis and her husband, Evan Pearre.
