Steven Gorman Obituary
Fairmont, Minn., Steven Mark Gorman, 58, of Fairmont, Minn., died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, of cancer at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home of Fairmont is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Gorman was born on Jan. 9, 1951, in Fairmont, Minn., to James E. and Betty (Stanton) Gorman.
Survivors of the immediate family include his mother, Betty Jean Gorman of Grand Island; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael J. and Ching-Mei (Katie) Gorman of Severn, Md., and Greg Gorman of Omaha; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Susan and Brian Barnes of Omaha, Nancy and David Brown of Blair, Cynthia Kay Gorman of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Amy Jo Gorman of Grand Island.
Additional survivors include many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, James Gorman; and brother, Timothy Gorman.
