Jack, Tina & Family,
No words could take away the pain you're feeling right now. But please know that you are in my thoughts, as well as the thoughts of many others who love and care about you. Jack, the last time you and I had a lengthy conversation, you spoke of your love for your children and how much joy they bring to your life. I can't imagine what your family is going through right now. I hope and pray that you can find even the smallest bit of comfort right now knowing that Tanner is in a place much better than earth. Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for your family in this time of grief and sorrow.

While Tanner is enjoying "joys unspeakable" in Heaven, my heart goes out to your family and the pain you're feeling now. I realize your grief is inconsolable at this time. And I'm so very sorry that you have been beset with such a grave loss.
I am a friend of your dear and loving Grandmother Leona. Her heart is surely breaking for yours! Having lost a grandson, I know the pain of burying those dreams, those precious smiles and hopes for the future.
Having said that, there is one thing that still remains - the bond with Tanner will never be broken, because the love that has been shared will always remain. Nobody can take that away. There may be a place at the table that will forever be unfilled, but his presence is there when you talk about him, plant a tree in front of the kitchen window so you think of him when you see it, having a "Cowboy Day" at the library in his name, or donate children's books on grieving.

Tanner has gone home to the waiting arms of our Lord; even in the midst of sorrow, our hearts rejoice in the glorious hope of Heaven where you'll see him again! May God tenderly comfort you and give you His peace.

There are no words, and the pain of sudden loss of one so loved and so young, is numbing. but this I know, after having lost my grandson at the age of 5; there will come a moment when a smile will come before a tear falls, and a memory will warm your heart. I am so sorry for you.. but let family and friends be strong for you till you can be strong
