GRAND ISLAND - Thomas Henry "Tom" Brixius II, 58, of Grand Island, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

A memorial service and celebration of Tom's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial of ashes will follow in Grand Island City Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Tom was born on January 27, 1965, in Chula Vista, California, to Thomas H. and Judy (Heikes) Brixius. He grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1983.

On May 14, 1988, Tom married Terri Stolley. They raised two children, Kayla and Joshua. Tom drove truck over the road for over 25 years and loved his job.

Tom was a passionate Husker fan, especially football. He also enjoyed attending his children's activities, Nascar, and playing cards. He was a car enthusiast and could surprise you with random facts about cars.

Tom is survived by his wife, Terri; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Jeff Herrick and their children, Ella and Tucker of Kearney; son, Joshua Brixius (Tiffany Czaplewski) of Grand Island; and brother, Tim Brixius of Grand Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tammy Brixius.
