ALLEN L. FUDGER
ITHACA - Allen L. Fudger, 77, of 509 Spencer Road, Ithaca, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Ithaca, son of the late George and Mary Bacon Fudger.Al was a member of the Sons of Unions Veterans of the Civil War, Sydney Camp #41, the Muscian's Union of Central New York, the Locksmith's Association of Syracuse, and the John Birch Society.He was owner operator of Ace Security for over 35 years with his wife.He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Florence Slutz Fudger; daughters, Christine Golden and Joanne Fleming; his loving grand-daughter, Lea (Willie) Bethea; great grandchildren, Lashea Alexander, Michael Fudger, and Ianna Bethea; his sister, Marillyn Shaw; and daughter-in-law, Jean Fudger. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Terry and Allen Gerard Fudger.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at 12 noon at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Cooper Cemetery, Brooktondale. Friends may call from 10 to 12 noon prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Sons of Unions Veterans of the Civil War, Sydney Camp #41, Attn: Don Wheeler, 501 Willow Ave., Ithaca, NY, or to the Brooktondale Fire Department.
