Ana de Popa Obituary
Dryden - On Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Ana Altagracia Viloria de Popa, wife, mother, and beloved abuela to all, was welcomed into God's kingdom at the age of 99. Ana will be lovingly remembered by her children, Angie, Doris (Wladyslaw), and Carmelo (Nery). Ana will also be remembered by her nine grandchildren, Bohdan, Frances, Anita, Vlodzio, Frank, Jennifer, Chris, Willie, and Carleny. She will also be kept in the hearts of her 17 great-grandchildren. Ana was born on September 21, 1918 in the Dominican Republic. She moved to the United States in 1963 and worked as a seamstress. Ana leaves a legacy of raising a beautiful family of doctors, nurses, lawyers, soldiers, and those united in their love of faith and family. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio. May her smile shine down from heaven and continue to inspire us all.
A viewing will be held starting at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 309 Siena Drive, Ithaca, NY. The viewing will be followed by a service and celebration of Ana's life at 3:00pm and reception at 4:00pm in St. Catherine's Parish Center. All are welcome.

Doris and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, mother in law , grandmother and great grandmother. She was a beautiful woman in so many ways and passed that on to all of you. I'm sure she is flying high already with all the love and prayers she gave and has received. Surely a life well lived. ❤❤
