Frances Sharp Obituary
Sharp, Frances Adelaide O'Dell (French) passed away on 2 March 2017 peacefully with her family by her side. Born in Ithaca 12 March 1930 daughter of the late Harry and Neva (Sally) Foote O'Dell. A lifelong resident of Ithaca Frances retired from the Reconstruction Home in 1994. She was predeceased by a Son Christopher and Daughter Dorothia also a sister Dorothy. Surviving are six children Beth (Charlie) Neff, Sally Romaine, Frederick (Janice) French, Curtis (Arlene) French of Port Orange Florida, Jeffrey (Susie) French, Paul (Liz) French. Also, three brothers Charles O'Dell, James (Tina) O'Dell, Paul (Juanita) O'Dell. Also 24 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 18 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on: April 1,2017 at 4:00pm at the Herson-Wagner Funeral home 110 S. Geneva St. Ithaca N.Y.In Burial will be at a later date . lieu of flowers donations can be made in Frances memory to St. Jude Hospital. Online condolences may be left at hersonwagnerfuneralhome.com

Sally, I miss seeing you and Miss Frances walking together going outside of Titus Towers or coming back in. Miss Frances was such a supporter of Titus Towers breakfast. I remember her coming to breakfast then going off to Bible Study afterwards. Always remember her signature red cap with her many pins on it.
May the peace of God comfort you and your loved ones during this time and moving forward.
