Jackie Butler Obituary
Lansing - Jackie Butler, 69, of Lansing, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born in Ithaca, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Josephine Campbell Stone. Jackie worked at Ithaco and later at BF Goodrich, from where she retired as a manager.
Jackie's joy in life came from being grandma to her two grandsons, Tucker and Mason. Her grandkids and their sports were her life. She was also very close to and loved her sisters and the family dog, Jackson. In her free time, she enjoyed golf, visiting the casinos, and playing games—especially poker, euchre and scrabble.
Jackie is survived by her son, Jeremy (Kristen) Butler; grandchildren, Tucker and Mason Butler; sisters, Tania (Ray) Johnson, Verla Kannus, Donna Sue Duncan, Zae (Joe) Petricola, and Kay (Brian) Ford; and too many extended family members and friends to mention. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Butch Isenberger and Sharon Swartwood.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Ludlowville Pine Grove Cemetery, Ridge Road, Lansing, NY. A Celebration of Jackie's Life will follow at noon at the LakeWatch Inn, 1636 East Shore Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's name may be directed to a charity to which she often contributed, the United Way of Tompkins County at www.uwtc.org/give or 313 North Aurora Street, Ithaca, NY 14850.

Jeremy & family,
I was shocked to read about Jackie's passing.
She was the best golf partner anyone could have.
We had such a great time golfing and playing slowpitch. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
I will never forget Jackie...she was one of a kind.

Jackie was and always will be a special friend. We shared many "work hours" together as well as 'time off" together. Whether it be softball, playing cards, camping out around the pond, Jackie was the supreme hostess and friend to all. Jackie played an important role in the lives of my sons and my family. Jackie, I will hold you in my memories always. Thanks for your friendship, support and love..through all those years. My thoughts and prayers to The "Butler Family".
