Jesse Sharpsteen Obituary

Jesse J. Sharpsteen

Freeville - Born on August 14, 1996. It is with deep sadness and heartache that Jesse J. Sharpsteen has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 21 on December 14, 2017.

He is survived by his mother Barbara Sharpsteen (Bryan Grider) of Freeville, NY, father James (Ianthe) of Ithaca, NY, brother Michael (Keeley) of Owego, NY, sister Aubrey of Freeville, NY, brother Ty and sister Kya of Ithaca, NY, fiance Sarafina M. Bailor of Freeville, NY, grandmother Joyce Sharpsteen of Ithaca, NY grandfather Donald Sharpsteen of Lansing, NY, uncles Brian Carrier (Nop) of Ithaca, NY, Leonard Carrier (Wanda) of VA, Donald Carrier (Heather) of Freeville, NY and several cousins. He had two cats which were his pride and joy, Texa and Ezio. He loved cats extremely more than anything else. He was very close to his cousin James in VA and a close friend Gary here in NY.

He went to Dryden High School and lived in Tompkins County his whole life. He enjoyed working and learning with electrical jobs and construction. One of his biggest hobbies was computer games and he definitely one of the best big gamers. He collected knives and swords and enjoyed reading. In his spare time he enjoyed hanign out with his brother Michael. His biggest dream was being able to work with chemistry. He worked at Borg Warner for a while and then went to Express and worked through them which landed him a job at IMR which he really enjoyed and called his dream job. He will be very sadly missed by many people.

Jesse was a friend of a friend to me. He was a classmate, and he was very close to my dear friend Sarafina. I'm not sure if I could call him my friend, but we had a class together, and we talked on occasion as well. We even had a project together for a business class.

In short, I didn't know Jesse too well, but I know he had much he could have offered this world, and I am deeply sorry for your loss.
