I will always have the fondest memories of Coach Blinn. He taught me not only how to play football, but to always demand the best from myself and to always be prepared and strive for perfection(Thank you for those life lessons). He was very stearn with the kids he coached, but in a good way. The ten laps for goofing off or not giving your best always seemed liked a lesson not punishment. Ralph was a role model in every sense. He will be missed by all of us he touched over the years.

Ralph worked at The IGA store in Lansing when I met him. Back then, my dad, Ned Armstrong, was a manager there. I was a cashier. Dad would ask me if I wanted to take my break with him-then he'd ask Ralph to join us as well. Those two guys had the GREATEST sense of HUMOR!! When they got together, it was THE BEST!! I am deeply sorry for your loss.
The world has lost a rare and special person-

Our sincere condolences to the Blinn family - Ralph really did have a great sense of humor. He was the person that got us interested in helping him with the after prom party. He trained us so we could take over when he gave it up. We had a lot of fun working with him.

Ralph's family,
Words can not express my sincere condolences of your loss. My fondest memories are of him his coaching my sons in football. He was tough on them, but he made sure they were physically fit to play the game. He also cared about each and everyone of the boys he coached. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May God be with all of you.
