RiLynn Hilsinger Obituary
RiLynn Jean Marie Hilsinger was welcomed with love on February 4, 2014 to her parents Kaitlynn Hilsinger and Bobby Polcaro. After a brave 32 day battle with a rare birth defect, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, in the loving arms of her parents and surrounded by family she went to be with our Lord on March 6, 2014. She is survived by her parents Kaitlynn Hilsinger (Spencer) and Bobby Polcaro (Lansing). She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Joanne Carlyle (Spencer), Howard & Laurie Hilsinger (Charlottsville VA); maternal great grandparents, Gloria Carlyle, (Spencer) Angelo & Lorraine Alaimo (Orlando Fl); paternal grandparents, Rick (Luanne) Polcaro (Spencer), Barb Williams (Lansing). RiLynn is also survived by aunts, Kassidy Hilsinger (Newark Valley), Brittany, Emily Polcaro (Spencer); uncles, Cody Hilsinger (Ithaca), Mickey Williams (Lansing) and the Great American Uncle Sammie Hilsinger (Charlottsville VA). RiLynn is also survived by many great aunts and uncles and Shelley Sherboneau also has a very special place in heart that RiLynn will always hold. RiLynn is predeceased by her great grandfathers, Howard Hilsinger Sr. & Robert Carlyle. RiLynn touched the lives of so many in her short time and the family will be honoring her short life on Sunday March 16, 2014 at the Herson Wagner Funeral Home in Ithaca, NY at 1:00PM. The family will hold a private burial where RiLynn will rest right next to her Great Grandpa Bobby Carlyle in the Maine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting that you may make a donation to the Nayeli Foundation in her memory. Donations may be made to the Nayeli Foundation, Foundation PO Box 3192 , Danville, CA 94526

I followed your story the whole way. When i read that god took you away it set hard. I'm not close to the family but I knew Kaitlyn from school. I pray for your family everyday as I couldn't even start to imagine how hard it has to be. R.I.P Rilynn.
