My seventeen years at the AO were made better by having the opportunity to work with someone who believed in giving to others and accepting people as they are. My prayers to your family. I know you are Blessed and at Peace.

Steve was one of the nicest, most responsive, and certainly the most conscientious Justice Department official many of us encountered in our careers. He was a shining example of integrity.

I've only spoken with Steve on the phone for an interview for a job, which I was selected for and will begin on May 7. He seemed to be a very deep thinker, listener and a nice person. I'm sorry I was unable to meet him in person. My condolences to his family and staff.

Steve was a wonderful friend and colleague at the Administrative Office. He was always cooperative and helpful and had a great sense of humor to go along his very quick intellect. The entire AO, and especially his staff and friends, will miss him greatly. I am so sorry for your loss.
