William Frisbie Obituary
Age 55 of Newfield, NY died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Survived by daughter, Heather (Paul) Waddell; son, Bill "Little Billy" (Ashley) Frisbie with their daughter, Taylor Jane Frisbie; mother, Alice Frisbie; sisters & brothers, Bud (Dot) Frisbie, Karen Frisbie, Vicki Zifchock, Roxanne (Duff) Terry, Valerie Shisler, Jeffrey Frisbie, & Katie Wright; uncle, Keith Carlyle; aunt Joyce Clark; several nieces, nephews and cousins; predeceased by father, Gilbert Frisbie Sr. William was an employee of Borg Warner, Ithaca, and a longtime avid race car driver and fan. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Ithaca. Those wishing may make a donation in his name to the Cancer unit at the Cayuga Medical Center (envelopes available at the funeral Home) The Family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, October 30 at the Kalec Funeral Home, Elmira from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. His Funeral Service will be there Thursday, October 31 at 9 a.m. Burial to follow in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.

Visiting Nurse Service recently learned of the passing of William Frisbie. Our clinicians have voiced how much they enjoyed providing William with home care services during his time of need.
The grief you are experiencing at this time is natural but it can become overwhelming as the realization that life will be forever changed because of the loss of a dear one. This is why we want to make you aware of the bereavement services offered by a partner agency of ours – Hospicare of Tompkins County.
You can learn more about Hospicare services by calling (607) 272-0212 or by visiting their website at www.hospicare.org. Their programs are open to all community members regardless of whether hospice services were used by your loved one.
Each of us grieves in our own way but never alone. Our clinicians want to express how much they cared for William and their hope that you will find comfort in the memories that will live on forever within you, your family members and friends.

Our thoughts are with all of Bill's family and friends. We have lost one of the most selfless and positive people I have ever known. Deb and I worked with him at Emerson and I golfed with him--- No matter what,, he always had a positive attitude that lifted everyone around him. He was both a source of comfort and strength and comfort for me when by dad was sick. I will Never forget how good he was to me and many others.
