I will always have very special and fond memories of my Uncle Roger. From the time I was a little boy, I looked up to and admired this man of God. It was always exciting for me as a child when my parents, my little brother and I (Dad would get some time off from the Air Force) would leave Oklahoma to go see our family in Kansas. First stop in Newton would always be to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Buller's (my father's parents) house first! Then as soon as we left Grandma and Grandpa Buller's house, we would go right down the street (to Poplar St) to see my Aunt Peggy, Uncle Roger, and Cousin Aaron!!! It was like a tradition of ours! Sometimes Uncle Roger would be at work at his old store on West First St. and we would go in and visit him. My brother and I always loved (and would laugh and get a kick out of) how Uncle Roger would find two plucked chickens in his meat section and make the chickens dance for me and my brother! Aunt Peggy and Uncle Roger (along with my parents and belated Grandma Buller) were there for me when I graduated from Hesston high school in 1997! Uncle Roger was also there for me at St. Mary's in Newton when I first became a Knight of Columbus. My Uncle Roger (and Aunt Peggy too) were always there for me and my family (my brother and parents). I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things he did for my brother, myself, and my parents. My Uncle Roger was a gentleman, a servant of God, and definitely a man of God. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a saint in Heaven watching down on all of us right now; directing us, guiding us to live as he did..as servants of God. Uncle Roger, you will be greatly missed... "Until we meet again.. may God hold you in the palms of His hands..." -I love you and miss you-

Roger will be greatly missed by the entire community. His outgoing spirit and giving nature were always shared with the many friends and family members who will miss him deeply. If there was ever a person that departed this world that deserves wings and a hallow it is Roger. His will be "Gold Plated". We Love and Miss You!
