Ashley Smith Obituary
Ashley was born Sept. 18, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She is survived by two brothers, Eli Smith and his wife, Kimberly, and Noah Phillip Smith; one sister, Sedona Maige Smith Emory and her husband, Max Emory; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Laura Smith.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Floyd Thomas Neal and Marjorie Ellen Fox Neal.
Ashley was a true angel on Earth, transforming peoples' day and touching all walks of life that crossed her path. She was so selfless and always made sure everyone was well taken care of.
She had "The Rainbow Lady Soul," wrapping rainbows around us all. If you knew Ashley, she either told you this, or you personally felt it. Her energy was infectious and captivating – you noticed right away if you were lucky enough to be around her.
One of the few females to dominate the land surveying field, Ashley was very adept at finding "treasures" in the woods and keeping her father in line. She had the innate ability to appreciate all the beauty in this world and always found something good in every person.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at their home, 3248 The Knoll Lane, at 5 p.m. Friday, April 2. They invite all who feel called to come and bask in the light that Ashley has shed on this world.
The family has entrusted Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, (803) 285-8000, to take care of Ashley and her family.

I will truly miss your bubbly attitude and your positive outlook on life. Even though it was nothing special I still remember the last one on one conversation we had a couple of years ago. I had come to visit Noah but he wasn’t home but you were and we kicked it out back for a little bit. I’m glad that we got to share those last moments with each other. I will cherish them forever! Phillip and family...I am so very sorry about the passing of Ashley. She was such a ray of sunshine and such a free spirit. We loved to see her in our office (Assessor), to do her work.
