Frances Broach Obituary
Frances was born on Monday, Dec. 23, 1929, to the late Clyde Covington and Sarah Leona Sinclair Lee, in Pineville, N.C. Throughout her life, she has always been known for being a truly loving person. She always saw the good in people, no matter their situation or differences; she was always there to help those in need without hesitation. A devoted Christian, she was recently recognized as the last surviving founding member of High Point Freewill Baptist Church. Frances leaves behind a distinct impression on the hearts of so many people and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Richard Broach; sisters, Julie Lee, Beatrice Snipes, and Jeanette Hegler; as well as her brothers, James and Otto Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her special children, Leigh Ann Belk, Susan Berry (Matt), Linda Hill and Allen Hegler (Jessica); beloved "Nana" to Dustin Belk (Naomi), James David Belk II "JD," Allen Hegler III, Landon Hegler, Caroline Hegler, Brandon and Ryan Vincent; special great-grandson, Adoniram Belk; also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of Frances's life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with entombment being held immediately following the service. Pastor Thadd Jacobs will be officiating.
The family would like to give a special mention to her "second family," the members of High Point Freewill Baptist Church, for their unwavering love and friendship that they shared with Frances throughout all of the years.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that charitable donations be made in her loving memory to High Point Freewill Baptist Church, 2095 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
Arrangements are under the direction of A Simple Service Burial & Cremation – Lancaster, S.C.
