Christopher Dougherty

Christopher William Dougherty, age 23 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Clarksville.

A private service will be held at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Totten officiating. His remains are to be cremated.

Christopher was born May 13, 1989, son of Kent Dougherty and Julia Krager Bachand. He had attended Rossview High School and Grace Bible Church.

Survivors include his father, Kent Dougherty and step mother Lucy; his mother, Julia Krager Bachand and step father Robert; brothers, Shane Dougherty and Alec Bachand; sisters, Erin and Sophie Bachand; grandfather, William Krager; grandmother, Janet Bachand; uncle, Christopher (Amy) Krager; his aunts, Koreen Ryan (Geoff), Susan Fitzpatrick (Robert) and Megan Krager.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Chris "beaner", its still hard to grasp that you are no longer here with us, everytime my brother and I go somewhere there is a memory that we had with you. We keep waiting to see you coming down the road with that smile you always had on your face. It would never matter to you how down things were going you always tried to keep that smile on your face and keep all of us in a good mood. I really hate how you had to leave us at a young age, but like they say "only the good die young". I am glad that I had the opportunity to know you man. Chris (Beaner) your my brother and one of my very best friends. We have been through alot together and even when i was crying and down you were always there cracking jokes and making me smile. i miss you and i wish you were here. the last thing you said to me was " I Love You Sissy" and to me that meant alot. we were always hanging out and being crazy. even had fun times at the park and everywhere else. you were there for me when no one else was. Chris was a fantastic person. He was always full of spirit, respectful, and easy going! He always had great things to say to people and treated everyone like they mattered. I met him through mutual friends and got to know him because of this. I will always remember the way he always seemed to make me smile even when I was having a terrible day, or was the person to talk to about anything.
