Christopher Newton Obituary
Christopher Michael Newton, age 35, of Ashland City, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Rye's Chapel Cemetery.
The Newton family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and 12 noon until the hour of service Tuesday.
Christopher entered into this life on December 21, 1980, son to Michael Lloyd Newton and Mary Akins Newton. He was previously a student at Montgomery Central Schools and loved being outdoors.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his children, William Coty Newton, Chyanne Cannon and Taryn Cannon; fiancé, Bridget Thomasson; sister, Melanie Brown; grandmother, Betty Proctor; grandfather by marriage, Russell Proctor; uncle, Audie Newton; aunts, Wilma Vares Newton, Christine Hands, Judy Ussery, Debbie Duncan, and April Nelson; niece, Rianna McKinney; and great grand niece, Lillee Hardy.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Akin, Jerold Akin, Jason Ussery, Warren Duncan, Daniel Shephard, Phillip Byard.
