Our family has so many special memories of David and are so sad to hear this news. David coached our children through band and also gave private percussion lessons to our youngest child. I can remember watching Christian rock out on the drums at the young age of 5! David was always so proud of Lance and Christian! May the Lord bless this family with grace and mercy! Each of you are in our thoughts and prayers! Proverbs 3:6 says "In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success." David, wear your Heavenly crown well for you have earned it. Rest peacefully our Friend.

I've known David since my oldest child, Emily St. Amant, was in the CHS Band. He was the Drum Line Instructor while my son, Mark St. Amant, was with the band and on the line. I have so many great memories of David in seven years as Band Mom, it would be hard to pick. I saw him just a month ago and we talked for a while. He always asked me about my kids, anytime we ran into each other. I could always tell he was genuinely interested in how they were doing. He will be missed. I will be praying for all the family and for all the hundreds of lives that he touched during his life.

David was such a really nice person - I didn't know him a long time, but for the time I did he was always kind and funny, and one heck of a musician. I was blessed to sing along side him one time. I will miss him as will so many others. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends through this difficult time.
