Deidre Simpson Obituary
Deidre Lynn Simpson, age 63, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Alive Hospice, Nashville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Apelu Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday.
Deidre entered into this life on July 13, 1952 in Bluefield, West Virginia. She was employed with the State of Tennessee where she was a Regulatory Assistant for the Board of Nursing. Deidre was a member of the church family at Crievewood United Methodist Church and a former member of Bethel United Methodist Church..
In addition to her father, Emory Simpson, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Simpson. Survivors include her mother, Margaret Vawter Simpson; cousins, Ronnie Hawks (Wanda) and Karen Vawter; and a multitude of loving friends.
Members of her church family will serve as pallbearers.
