Eldred Knight Obituary
Eldred Grady Knight passed away May 16, 2013 at Signature Health Care.
He was born August 13, 1920 in Houston County, TN, son of the late Grady Knight and Alice McElroy Knight. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Morelle Latimer Knight and two siblings, Jimmy Knight and Elizabeth K. Adams. He was a member and elder 73 years at Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Veteran of WWII Army Air Corps and retired from Issac Buck Construction Co. and City of Clarksville Maintenance.
A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Bro. Paul Moody officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Thomas Terry Knight Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Harold (Butch) Knight; two daughters, Joyce Pryor, Judy Landrum; one brother, John T. Knight; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Landrum, Shawn Knight, Derek Pryor, Will Pryor, Tanner Landrum and Mike Wilson.
