Gerald was our neighbor when we lived in Sheffield. He was a sweet soul who always smiled and waved at those passing by. I enjoyed seeing him check the mail with his furry friend, Taz, always at his feet. Gerald often checked in on me when he knew my husband was deployed. During a time when I was locked out of my home, he offered to stay outside with me until my husband could come from across town to let me inside. He was a true neighbor, you don’t get any better than him. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Gerald & wife, Kay, were members of my Sunday School. He was, also, very active with The Methodist Men Group. Kay, you have my sympathy and you are in my prayers.
