James T. Barnes

Smyrna - James T. Barnes Jr, age 43 of Smyrna, passed away on Sunday December 2, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy T. Wyatt officiating. Air Force Honors will be rendered.

The Barnes family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.

James entered this life on November 11, 1975 in Fairfax County, VA, son of the late James Thomas Barnes Sr. and Sherry Flossie Stanford Barnes. He was a Staff Sergeant and Veteran of the United States Air Force, a 1994 graduate of Northeast High school and received his Associates Degree from Daymar Institute.

Survivors include his children, James Thomas Barnes III, Dallas Ray Barnes, Austen Dayle Barnes, Derek Lucas Barnes; brother, Rhett (Jenni) Barnes; sister, Anna Barnes, and nephews, Connor Barnes, Hunter White, Braeden Barnes, Dawson Barnes, and Jarrett Buskirk.
