John B. "Buddy" Wade, Jr.

Clarksville, TN

John B. "Buddy" Wade, Jr. of Clarksville, TN, died September 6, 2016 in Clarksville, TN. He was born August 15, 1931, in Memphis, TN, son of John B. Wade, Sr. and Helensue Gates Wade, who preceded him in death, along with his wife, Marjorie Ann Smith Wade; two sisters, Anne Wade Saino and Sue Wade; and one brother, James Gordon Wade. He is survived by his four daughters, Beverly Novay (Doug) of Alpharetta, GA, Linda Wimmer (Glen) and Carol McDowell (Hank) of Memphis, TN, and Laura Willoughby (Mark) of Brentwood, TN; two brothers, William Wade (Lu) of Cincinnati, OH, and Robert Wade (Joyce) of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He also leaves two stepsons, Brian Lane (Anita) of Clarksville, TN and Brannan Lane (Sandra) of Austin, TX; one step-grandchild and two step great grandchildren.

He attended Christian Brothers College and was a retired sales representative for Smurfit Stone Container and also served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Clarksville Historical Society.

Services were held in Memphis on Saturday, September 10, 2016 with the interment at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
