Malcolm Russell Obituary
Malcolm Gardner Russell, Jr., age 66, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with military honors.
Mr. Russell was born July 11, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT and was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Gardner and Christine Baldwin Russell; first wife, Frances Russell; son, Eddie Kennison; and sisters, Beverly Libby and Christine Lemus.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Manchester County Schools in Connecticut.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bellett Russell; son, Thomas (Kim) Kennison of CT; daughter, Melissa Ann (Peter) Erisoty of TN; brother, Michael Edward (Debra) Russell, Sr. of TN; sisters, Elenore Russell, Linda (Gerry) Damond, Sandy Vitkus, Kathy Jo Plourde, all of CT; grandchildren, Ashley Kennison, Thomas Stewart of TN, T.J. Kennison and Cydney Kennison; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with medical expenses.

Dear Linda and Family, I am so so sorry for your loss. Malcolm will truly be missed by me He and I go back from the time I 15 years old, we had some good times and bad but I know the good out weighted the bad I will always think of him as a brother and not a brother in law. He was a selfless man and would share the shirt off his back for anyone May he rest now and soar with the angles. I love you Malcolm
