Mary Lusk Obituary
Mary Frances Lusk, age 95 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Mary Frances was born August 12, 1916 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Henry Percy and Leone Julia Hille Richardson. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hilldale Church of Christ, DAR, and enjoyed playing in numerous Bridge clubs.
In addition to her parents, Mary Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. (Ret) Davis Lusk; and her brothers, Henry Percy Richardson, Jr. and Sam Hille Richardson.
Mary Frances is survived by her son, Richard Davis Lusk and his wife Lani of Alpharetta, GA; her brother, John M. Richardson of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Pastor Richard Lusk and his wife Jenny of Birmingham, AL, and Ryan Lusk and his wife Melissa of New York, NY; and her great- grandchildren, John, Rebekah, Hannah Kate and Annie Lusk.
Pallbearers will be Jack Richardson, Steve Richardson, Ed Rufo, Pastor Richard Lusk, Ryan Lusk and John Richardson.
Mary Frances will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She was greatly admired for her contagious smile and her compelling personality.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville Christian School, 505 Hwy. 76, Clarksville, TN 37043.
