Robert Crotzer Obituary
Robert Douglas "R.D" Crotzer, age 93 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Robert was born October 22, 1921 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Robert Franklin Crotzer and Lillie Mai Bracey Crotzer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen C. Crotzer.
Robert was a press forman at the Leaf-Chronicle for many years. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a US Air Force Veteran, having served in World War II.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9th at 1:30 p.m., at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. E.G. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8th from 4 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, July 9th from 12 Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
Robert is survived by his son, Ken Crotzer; daughter, Cindy (Mike) Moore; grandson, Ryan Moore; and sister, Grace Stanfill, all of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Moore, Ryan Moore, Chris Stanfill, Donald Crotzer, Phillip Hayes, Jason Hayes, Bob Tidwell, Rick Richmond and Mickey Keen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1410 Golf Club Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040.
The family would like to thank the staff of Fieldstone Place and Spring Meadows for their excellent care to our daddy.
