I met Arlene on the first night of our Principals of Accounting I at PCC on the campus of Winter Haven. Advised by our professor we exchanged phone numbers. It turned out that the apartment my daughter and I were living in was the same apartment Arlene and her boys had lived in. We hit it off right away, and became best friends. Many nights in my apartment with Arlene, and Mary, another student we learned a lot about accounting and each other. The three of us made a great team and made it through Accounting I and II. She was remarried and had a baby girl, Barbara during this time. Christy and I kept Barbara a lot of weekends, and enjoyed every minute. I miss the closeness we shared at that time.
Arlene, was taken too soon, and had a lot of living left to do. However, I know she is with our Heavenly Father and has no more burdens or pain. I will see you again, my friend. Love you, and thank you for the good times we shared. Judy Ricks

Although I only knew Arlene for a short time, I am completely heartbroken. I believe people come into our lives for a reason, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be in her presence. The sweetest person with the kindest soul. May you rest peacefully and may God continue to cover your family in this difficult time.

I wish I had the words! I used to work with Arlene at Macasphalt many years ago. She was a pleasure to work with and a true angel. She cared for everyone as a person and had an instinct just knowing if anyone needed help in work or any one she thought had any just simply life. Ive had her stop and just pray with me at work when my daughter had surgery. She just felt the need She was truly and earth angel. Im blessed for having known her❤

Rest In Peace my dear friend/cousin✝
I have many good memories that we shared in Surrency, and Sandy was usually right there too. Even though we lost contact for many years, I still feel such a loss. You were so shy, good, and sweet... I know you will be missed greatly, but I also know where you are, and you're okay.
Praying for you and your family
Randy
