BRICK, JR., 30
LAKELAND - Bruce Allan Brick, Jr., 30 of Lakeland, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 due to cardiac arrest.
Bruce was born June 3, 1980 in Warsaw, NY to Bruce and Wendy (Halsey) Brick, Sr. and moved to Lakeland in 1981 from Perry, NY.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce, Sr. Bruce is survived by his mother, Wendy Brick; son, Kendall Brick; daughter, Zoey Isabella Brick; sister, Jennifer (David) Brooks; brother, Jay P. Brick; mother of his son, Sarah Hurley and mother of his daughter, Jennifer Colon all of Lakeland and his, maternal grandfather, Eugene Halsey of Perry, NY.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 11am to 1pm at the Lakeland Funeral Home chapel where funeral services will be held that day at 1pm. Interment will take place in Lakeland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bruce's children.

I was sitting here thinking about fun times at school and you came to my thoughts. Remember when you taught me how to put a staple on the end of a pencil and flick it at johnny g? Dude, I laugh every time I think about it. The first staple I flicked hit him in the eye and thankfully he wore glasses. I learned my lesson. You laughed so hard and told me I had great aim and that I should be a pitcher for LG. Boys will be boys. See you on the other side

I love you dad. I think about you often and how my life would have been different if you were still here. God has a reason for all of his actions and I pray that you're in His kingdom. I have a beautiful wife named Alicia and a baby boy named Noah. My wife asks about you often and I love to speak about our times together. It's sad that Noah won't get to meet you but I'll make sure to tell him about his grandpa. I love you dad and Lord willing I'll see you again one day.

Brucie just wanted to let you know Kendall loves and misses you. He's growing up so fast. I wish you were here to see how he's doing so good in school and acts just like you. Kinda scary!! :) It breaks my heart that you're not here. My heart breaks for Kendall. We miss you so much!

Brucie.. I miss you soo much, it's killing me. Little Zoey asks for her Daddy every day, rips my heart out.. Little muffin just is too young to understand "Heaven" she asked me if I would drive there, and bring you back. The tears streamed down my face. Just so you know.. I remember when I met Bruce in 5th grade. We became best friends instantly. For almost 20 years u were my best friend. U were always here for me. I really feel I lost a brother when u left. U will never b forgotten brothers forever.

Truely a great loss,He will be missed by anyone who has ever had an encounter with him.Smart(a lil "too" at times) funny,a Father,friend,companion,Son.He was(is) loved and he will always be missed.I believe Bruce found God,then our Lord took him home to be with Him. my condolences to his mother, i never met but just resently found out threw Bruce who's been doing all that pray'n for him.(he said with a smile while wheelchair bound).Then he said he will be home soon...that was on sunday october 31,2010

I'm so sorry for your loss, Bruce was like a little brother to me. Bruce would bring a smile to everyone when ever he would walk into a room, a place and i remember the day he told me he was going to be a daddy and it was a boy he was so excited and couldn't wait to be a daddy. Wendy, Jennifer and Jay, Bruce was loved by many and will be missed by many. his smile, His laughter could light up a room, Jay, I always looked to you and Bruce as brothers I could remember when I needed a shoulder to cry there was always the two of you I could turn to. Then I was blessed, to my surprise when Jennifer and Bruce moved in next door to my husband and I off Chase rd it was like old times again. Always remember that he will be smiling down and watching over all of you with that unforgettable smile of his. Also he is with Big Bruce and Billy now .. Bruce will never be forgotten.
