Carmen Onorevole Obituary
ONOREVOLE
LAKELAND - Carmen G. Onorevole - Second chances - he believed in these for others, and for himself. Although life may not have always gone as he planned, despite any obstacles, Carmen was generous, caring, and big of heart. A steadfast believer in AA and its teachings, Carmen sponsored and inspired many over his 32-year journey of sobriety.
Born on July 29, 1941 to Carmen and Viola Onorevole, Carmen grew up in Clifton (NJ), spent most of his life in Nutley (NJ), and moved to Lakeland (FL) in 1998. He died on November 5, 2015.
He is survived by his brothers Richard and Robert, sister-in-law Linda, son Kevin, daughter Linda, daughter-in-law Christine, grandchildren Anthony and Anna, nieces Gina, Katia, and Veronica, nephew Daniel, and many cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice or to Heartland Intergroup in Lakeland, FL, (863-688-0211, www.heartlandintergroup.org ) are appreciated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Carmen helped me when I first encountered him. He made me get involved in a way that helped me meet people and become a part of the group. He was no-nonsense in every way, while still enjoying himself. He'll definitely leave a hole in our community.

My condolences to Carmen's family. I knew Carmen since he moved to Lakeland from NJ. Carmen was a good man and a very loving and caring person. Carmen helped allot of people since he moved to the Lakeland area. He will be missed dearly. Good bye my friends. .till we met again. ..ciao.
