1958 - 2018
WINTER HAVEN - It is with great sadness that the family of Christi Gibbs Gomez announces her passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, April 12th, 2018 at the age of 59.
Christi was a native of Winter Haven and a graduate of Winter Haven High School, class of 1976, where she was a Devilette. She was a life-long member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and was recently retired from Winter Haven Hospital with over 30 years of service.
Christi was preceded in death by her father, Martin Girard Gibbs, Jr. (Gibby) and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 30 years, Carlos Gomez; mother, Charlotte Brown; two sisters, Catherine Smith and Tracy Jackson; many nieces, nephews and fur babies.
The family appreciates all who attended and/or who sent well-wishes to the memorial service which was held at Ott-Laughlin funeral home Sunday, April 15th.
