My Dear Kara,
Carissa calls you her sister. Therefore you are my daughter, when she hurts I hurt. Please know you are loved and thought about. I would never say I know how you feel, but I do know what it is like to lose a parent and I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I will not say that in time it will get better, but I will say that with each minute you get where you can cope a little bit better. Please know that as a mother I would do anything to ease your pain. You are loved. and I am sending to you and your family all my love and prayers not just at this time, but also in the months to come.

Kara,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you, my sister, and I am so sorry. I know you miss him so much, but he knows you love him and you know he loves you. The love never ends. One of the awesome gifts God gives is not only His infinite comfort but also the reassurance that this is not really the end, and you will see your Daddy again. He is no longer on this earth, but that does not mean that you are not still his baby girl.
I love you!
