Publix Retiree
LAKELAND - Henry Lee Walker, Sr., 77, a Lakeland resident died at Kindred Hospital in Tampa on Oct. 18th, 2011 from respiratory arrest.
He enjoyed cooking; loved his work, and most of all, his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving family, wife, Alice L. Walker, son Henry L. Walker, Jr., daughters Leehomer Simmons & Jo Ann Rich-Green, 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his kindness, helpful and jovial spirit.
Visitation: Friday, 5-7 pm at New Bethel AME Church, 2122 N. MLK Avenue. Funeral Service- Saturday: 11 am at the church.
Directors: HW Oldham Funeral Home.

I have a lot of good memories of Henry, we had coffee in the mornings and talked a lot. We would talk to Mr. Joe while he was sorting his mail and enjoyed that time. Henry was a special person and I pray that the good memories of the past and God grace will comfort the family through this time of sorrow.
