HUY HUYNH Obituary

DR. HUY
HUYNH

Dr. Huy Huynh, on June 14, 2017, at 5:05 PM, was called to Heaven peacefully to join our Lord after living with brain cancer for over 2 years.
He is carried on by his family, which includes his parents, Hung and Kim Huynh, his fiancé, Lyna Huynh, and his 3 brothers, Hoang Huynh, Hai Huynh, and Huan Huynh.
Born on June 7, 1984, and raised in Winter Haven, FL, anyone could tell that Huy was a special person from the very first time they met. From Kindergarten until 8th Grade, Huy attended the Grace Lutheran School in Winter Haven. He then went on to attend the Santa Fe Catholic High School in Lakeland, FL. Huy then proceeded to attend his dream school, the University of Florida, where he quite possibly left his biggest impact.
He was heavily involved within almost every facet of student life, including Student Government, the Florida Cicerones, Florida Blue Key, and the Asian American Student Association. However, his crowning achievement here was becoming a Founding Father of the Pi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc., which he held very dear to his heart. Finally, after graduating with a Bachelors and a Masters from UF, Huy went on to materialize his passion by attending the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his DMD degree.
Visitation, Friday 6/23/ 17 from 6-9 pm at Oakridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.
Funeral Mass, Saturday 6/24/17 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel, 532 Ave., M, NW, Winter Haven.

Huy,

I only knew you briefly but in that short period of time you made a positive impact in my life. You were so funny and a very happy person, I wanted to hang out with you and your crew all the time. I wish I had met you earlier in my life. I will keep you in my prayers, I am very sad to see you go. Life is not fair, I wish I understood why these things happen. I will strive to be a better person in memory of you. You are a good man.

I had the pleasure of working with your son at Heartland Dental. He had a kind and genuine soul. He had a way about him that would make you smile, yet feel comfortable. As a dentist and a person, those are qualities that are not possessed by all. I feel blessed to have known him and send my deepest condolences to his family. He was an angel here on Earth and is now flying with the rest of the angels serving our Lord. May your memories help to comfort you all...
