MURPHY, N.C. - Jacob John "Bob" Keiper, 78 of the Ranger Community of Murphy, NC died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at his home of cancer.
He was a native of Medina, Ohio and was a building contractor for most of his life. He was a US Army veteran and he attended the First Baptist Church in Murphy, NC. He was the son of the late Jacob John and Elizabeth Webel Keiper.
Jacob is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Jean Delores Rohrer Keiper; a son, Keith Keiper of Marble, NC; two daughters, Carol Post and her husband Chris of Auburndale, Florida and Kimberly Wolff and her husband Jerry of Murphy, NC; five grandchildren, Kristi Olson, Andrea Post, Janna Ligazinski, Nikki Keiper and Austin Keiper; four great-grandchildren, Tristan Olson; two brothers, Phillip Keiper of Mansfield, Ohio and Reinhart Keiper of Wadsworth, Ohio; four sisters, Teresa Martin and Helen Shurance both of Seville, Ohio, Caroline Max of Orlando, Florida and Kathy Stokes of Rancho Santa Fe, California and a host of nieces and nephews.
Interment was held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the Ranger United Methodist Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2007 at The First Church of God in Winter Haven, Florida.
