It´s hard to process that it´s been 12 years already since James passed. I still think about him frequently and hear his voice in my head. I miss him dearly, but I feel like his spirit is nearby more often than not. Much love to everyone reading this.

James and i were really good friends through out high school. I met him through friends and loved him like a brother. We got into a car accident together coming back from the beach where we use to hang out at beach game land all the time. I missed you when we lost touch and ill miss you forever! Love Brittany

As a former classmate of James at Grace Lutheran School, I am blessed to have begun my journey in this world with him as a friend. Class field trips, school dances, and other memorable events (Halloween Carnivals, 7th Grade Keys Trip, and countless end-of-the-year parties) will always be graced with the memory of James as a close friend and tremendous blessing. Never has such a kind heart touched so many lives. My condolences to the family as you will be in our thoughts and prayers through this diffcult time.
Be still, and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
Blessed comfort,
Erin Hoeft

James and the good memories we shared will live on in my heart forever. He always saw the Positive and good side of people and situations, and was an inspiration. He lived more in his 22 years than many people do in a lifetime. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Much love and hugs.

Terri, James and Josh, We have always loved James like a son. When Shea and he were in GLS together our boys were such good buddies. I will never forget him bringing me Chocolate Covered Cherries for my birthday; he never forgot, since we shared the same birthday. I cannot imagine the sorrow you must all feel at the loss of a wonderful son and brother. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. The Ball Family, Kevin, Karen, Donovan and Shea.

James, you had one of the purest and gentlest souls I have ever encountered. Every single person you came into contact with could sense that about you. Thank you for that gift and your love and friendship to so many who will always hold you in their hearts. My love and support to your family and your friends who grieve your passing. Bless you all.

Our sincere sympathy to the family of James. Our daughter Erin Hoeft was a classmate at Grace Lutheran School, and we remember him and his smile and very kind manner. I can recall way back to when James started school and we went on a field trip to Seaworld and we stayed back with James (Jaime?) so he could take his time walking, we had a good time. The last few years I have had the honor to hear about James from his Grandmother and Great Grandmother and his Aunt Lynda at Gessler Clinic at their office appts in cardiology. I know how much you all loved and cared for him, take that love and now support each other knowing he is now with Jesus, in His arms. You are all in our thoughts and prayers,

We were so saddened to hear of James' death. We remember his kind manner and smile while a fellow classmate of our daughter, Erin at Grace Lutheran School. We cannot begin to know the pain and anguish that you all are enduring at this time. Our prayer is that our Lord will pour over you all, His Grace, peace and Love, as you face the minutes, hours, days and weeks in your grief and sorrow. Be patient with each other as you walk through your mourning and surround yourselves with those who will lift you all up and walk beside you with love and compassion.
In Christian love and Prayers,

James, I can't begin to imagine your grief, having 2 sons myself. Even though it's been years since I've seen and talked to you, I know you were a kind and loving father ! Please remember..."to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord..." James is in a place of peace that we have no comprehension of, until our appointed day..."eye hath not seen nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man those things God has promised to them that love him..." May God comfort and keep you and your family in this time, as you celebrate James' life and the precious memories of his legacy.
Love, Dale Griner
