JUDITH 'JUDY' ANNE BOYD, 79

LAKELAND - Judith 'Judy' Anne Boyd passed away on August 6, 2018, in Lakeland Florida, at the age of 79.
Judith was born on July 5, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, and began her professional career as a bookkeeper at General Finance. In later years, she relocated to Florida where she continued working in financial services, and ultimately managed apartment communities. She often talked about how much she loved the work she did. She was a very charitable person, giving of herself in every way she could through-out her lifetime to a wide variety of organizations. In her retirement, Judith served as president of the local Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as president of her condominium board at Imperial Southgate Villas. Judith was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and adviser to many people who were so fortunate to experience her positivity, wisdom, kindness, generosity, patience and love. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Judith is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Boyd. She is survived by her daughters, Doreen Frenier and Laura (Joseph) Dawson; grandchildren, Daniel, Gloria, and Sara; sister, Terri (Glen) Ebel; nieces and neph-ew, Lisa, Nicole, Fred; cousin, Ross (Winnie) Missner, and friends across the country.
Arrangements are being handled by the National Cremation Society for Judith to be with her husband, Leslie Boyd, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Per Judith's request, no public services will be held, as it was her wish for everyone to have their own individual, joyous celebration of her life.
