WRIGHT, 90

LAKELAND - Kathryn J. Wright of Lakeland died Thursday, April 28, 2011 of natural causes at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her four children, Stephan Wright (Nancy) of Bradford Woods, PA, Michael Wright (Debbi) of Smyrna, DE, Robert Wright (Dena) of Champaign, IL, and Christine Wright of Lakeland. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grand children.
Kathryn was born November 23, 1920 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late LeRoy and Esther Schuler. Kathryn graduated from Wheelersburg, OH High School and attended Rio Grande College in Rio Grande, OH. She served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946.
Kathryn was married in 1946 to the late Ralph A. Wright of Farmington, IL. They and their family lived in Central Illinois until she moved to Lakeland in 1991. She has resided at Lakeland Harbor since her move from Illinois.
Kathryn was an avid bridge player and earned the designation of Life Master many times over.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the charity of your choice.
