Boilermaker
LAKELAND - Kenneth Norman Hines, 72, of Lakeland passed away of heart failure on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth was born February 15, 1941, in Plant City to Horace and Lillie Hines. Kenneth was a retired boilermaker and was also a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Butler Hines; sons, Kenneth Michael Hines and Timothy Darrell Hines; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Cochran; sisters, Wendy Lemire and Linda Novak; brother, Albert LeRoy Hines; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Marie Sakai.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Lakeland Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 12 noon with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens
