TOOLE, 91

LAKELAND - Opal Nipper Toole, 91, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 of natural causes.
She was born on July 6, 1916 in Turner county, GA. She graduated from Ashburn High School, Georgia Southwest Junior College and the University of Akron, OH with a BS degree in education. She worked as a bookkeeper for 10 years and also taught at Rochelle and Kathleen Elementary Schools. She was a member of Medulla Baptist Church and a member and past musician of Kathleen Court #46, Order of the Amaranth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Toole. She is survived by her son, Greg Toole; daughter, Linda T. McClelland; grandchildren, Tommy and David McClelland and Amy Roberts as well as 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Medulla Baptist Church, Building Fund.

Opal was so special. I always enjoyed going to her home and listening to the stories of her younger days. I was truely blessed to be her pastor for four years. We all will miss her. Lakeland will not be the same without her. Blessings to each one of the family. Our love.

Opal will be missed!! She was a wonderful part of Medulla Baptist Church... She is in the arms of JESUS now.. I will allways remember her fondly! Prayers & Blessings to her FAMILY.
