I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Rick in the year and couple months that I have been at Bull Runner. I didn't truly get to speak with him on constant basis until we started working on projects together for the transportation meetings. That's when I got to know him a little better, and his humor was amazing. He always kept his doors open to everybody, and he always responded equally to my cheerful "hello's!" He always felt like a friend, and he will always be a part of the Bull Runner family. May he rest in peace.

Although we did not spend much time together over the years, I have fond memories of seeing him and his siter Brenda a few times as a child both at their home in North Carolina and at our Grandparents H. I. and Alma Fallin's house. My wife Cindy and I continue to lift up the entire family in our prayers during this very difficult time. May God comfort and strengthen you all.

I had the pleasure of working with Rick for many years at USF. The interests Rick expressed were never about self but for the patrons we serve. Rick, your calm demeanor, polite presentation and off the cuff humor will truly be missed.

To the VERY large Fallin family of Rick. Since I am much older than Rick, I did not know him as well as I did his Dad (my cousin)& his Mom, Margaret & many Aunts & Uncles & cousins. Rick's Grand Mother, Alma, was my Mother's sister. My Mom was Susan Rebecca Blewett. There were several of Aunt Alma & Uncle Henry's children that I have stayed in touch with through the years. June Fallin Bevil & I have been close since birth & still are to this day. She called me to tell me about Rick. Edna Fallin Collins & I were also close all our lives till Edna's death. Many others I stay in touch with. After I moved to GA, I could no longer attend the Fallin Family Reunions. But, on one occassion many yrs. ago, I did go when June called to tell me they were driving down from TN for it & asked if Icould make it. That is the last time I saw all the family together at one time. I do recall seeing Jane (Fallin) Fortin (?)& having a great converstion with her. We had something in common; I worked at Peoples Bank of Lakeland from 1955 till 1972 & Jane was working at Peoples at the time of the reunion. I am so glad we had that time together!! Jane, if you read this, get my email from June & Lary & send me a note!! My family means the world to me & that includes my cousins! I have been praying for Rick's family & will continue to ask The Good Lord to bless them through this difficult time.
Love & Prayers,
Connie (Blewett) Roberson

To the Fallin Family,
I worked with Rick at USF on small project this past August. Wanted you to know that even from across the street, the warmth of his soul, smile, and wave was felt each time I saw him.

Rick had represented USF in his participation in the New North Transportation Alliance, a public private partnership in the USF area, for many years. He was always ready to help with information and assistance for NNTA initiatives and special events. He was a champion for mobility and alternative transportation services. Rick will be sadly missed.
