Business Owner
LOUISVILLE, KY. - Robert Noel Krimm, 71, of Louisville, formerly of Lakeland Florida, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Sacred Heart Village, following a seven month struggle with lung cancer.
He was a retired business owner of several different electronics businesses over the years. He was a long time member of the Polk County chapter of SPEBSQSA (The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America), and was the Master of ceremonies for many for their shows. More recently, he had become actively involved with Democracy for America, and authored many letters to The Ledger concerning local and national politics.
He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Priscilla Hanscom Krimm.
Survivors include his daughters, Robin Frances Krimm and Noelle Maxine Krimm, and two grandchildren, Lily Frances Benjamin and Jack Robert Benjamin.
A family memorial service will be held the weekend of Aug 14-17. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Robert Krimm to either Democracy for America at democracyforamerica.com or the Brown Cancer Center at browncancercenter.org/donors/index.aspx

To the Family of Bob Krimm:
I met your Dad and Mom when I joined the DFA group in Bartow. I was humbled by their knowledge of politics and current events...they were both such ardent believers in progressive values...although I remember your Dad telling me he had not always been so...but he always made me think.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I met your dad at the first Dean for America meet-up that my husband and I attended. I loved your dad's great sense of humor and his and your mom's dedication to "walking their talk." They are both greatly missed.
