LAKELAND - Robert W. Surrency went to be with the Lord on 9/26/2018 from cardiac arrest, in Bartow.
He was very dedicated to serving God & a member of Victory Church. He was the #1 Buc fan.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Surrency, nephew J.R & also by his other loving family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
The visitation & funeral service is at Hillsboro Memorial, 2323 W Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. Visitation on Tues 10/2, 5-7pm, the service is on Wed 10/3 at 2pm.

I miss you. I can't believe it has been two years. I wish you could see that Tom Brady joined the Bucs and I think they got a new coach as well. I know you would have not liked the pandemic because you wouldn't have been able to do some of the things you love to do. I know you are in a better place and you are better off than us. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. Now you are free and able to run as much as you want without getting tiered. It's not fun being here without you, but I will try to make the best of it. I will always love you. From your nephew.
