WINTER HAVEN - Wendy Anne Parrish, 38, of Winter Haven passed away, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.
Born September 2, 1974 in Tampa, FL she has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a pantry manager for K-Mart in Winter Haven.
She is survived by: Terry Morris; a daughter, Hannah Morris; a son, Zackary Morris; her mother, Margaret Parrish; 2 brothers, Mark and Sam Parrish; a sister, Marie Torres; a sister-in-law, Kathy Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 8:00pm, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bartow.

The family doesn't know me and I didn't know Wendy, but my dad was next to Wendy's ICU room when she passed. I was in the waiting room when the family was notified. I thought about her today and went online & her name was the first to pop up in the obituary section. My heart breaks for the family. I don't know any of you, but I was there to witness this tragic loss. I went through the same ordeal with my mother in law just 5 months ago and seeing this family going through this pain was tremendous. All I could do was cry with them. Please know that your family is in my prayers. Her children are adorable and I pray God will help them through the loss of their mother.

Terry, Zack and Hannah. I can't even verbalize how badly I feel about you all losing Wendy. The sorrow is overwhelming for you three as well as Anna, Logan and I. She was such a beautiful person on the inside and out. She could always be counted on for a smile and for some good advice. Anna and Logan are devastating at having to lose an aunt entirely too early in her life. We will be there for you all to whatever capacity that you need. Hannah and Zack ~ Logan is your "big brother" and will watch over you. Hannah ~ your twin cousin is always here for whatever you need.
