My condolences to the family. What a phenomenal woman she was! I am a professor at the University of New Mexico and obtained all of my degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. I always remember her encouragement to continue higher education. Many blessings to the family. (Sylvia Celedon-Pattichis, Albuquerque, NM)

We all have fond memories of Miss Chela. She was our neighbor, our librarian, and a beautiful person to have in our lives as we were growing up. Greetings and our deepest sympathy to the Guerrero family from Clarissa, Madia, and Mariceli (Gonzalez).

We'll miss you Chel. Not a day would go by that Chela would make her daily
visit to Margo Pharmacy. The Guerrero homestead was across the alley from
the store. She'd come sometimes before school, but usually after work to visit and or pick up merchandise. Chela was one on the few people besides
the employees that knew how to enter the back door in the alley.
It was my sophomore year in High School, that I took a typing class with
Miss Guerrero. She was very strict, but very fair with all the students.
Some of us were not as fast as most, but NOT making mistakes is what she stressed.
May you rest in piece my cousin.
